Johnson versus Atlanta

I started writing this in my previous post but it took on a life of its own. I generally do all my homework in one day since then I don't have to really do it the rest of the week. I'm really going to miss my Mondays. I hate having class on Monday, always have, because since I have a procrastination problem I do homework on Sunday if I have class on Monday. I've always felt guilty doing homework on Sunday. Its one thing I absolutely love and will miss about Johnson. There are definitely pros and cons about Johnson versus Atlanta. Although the only real con Johnson is work study even though there are pros to Atlanta Johnson  doesn't have. Such as Kroger less then a mile away. The whole no car thing is seriously getting annoying and not having any food in my room. At Atlanta I could just walk. Johnson is too out in the country. Although the whole no ATM on campus I don't care for. Although there's a mall with an ATM also around a mile away. Not too bad. I'm pretty sure Atlanta also has private bathrooms which I am happy about. I'll hopefully learn more this summer. I am looking forward to but am sad about going. I do like the fact that Atlanta has an automatic payroll deposit. I really hope I'm going to be able to get on work study and that Atlanta doesn't have the limit that Johnson has. At Johnson you can only work 10 hours per week, and only 8 if a new student. I love it here. Ugh.

Day 10: Old Testament Poetry

It would be my homework of the day again, okay well one of them:

Day 9: Water

I took a picture of my water bottle. In my room I pretty much live on water. And sometimes I add kool-aid and lemonade singles to it:

Day 8: Pop Tarts.

So I developed a new craving...Hot Fudge Sundae pop tarts. I truly think I like them a little to much:

Day 7: Happy Birthday to me!

So my money came in just in time that I was able to order a birthday present for myself. My first ipod. Although I have an mp3 I've been wanting a specific type. I probably wouldn't've bought an apple brand product but a program I have only uses apple. So I really do love it I must admit although I absolutely refuse to EVER get a Mac. PCs all the way! Anyway here it is:

Day 6: First South

My hall is pretty awesome although I do miss all the people that were on it last year. At least half the hall became RAs. So its really a new hall this year:

Day 5: Twilight.

Its true. I'm a Twilight addict. So obviously I have a poster over my bed. Although it's no over my head so I can actually see it while I'm in bed:

Day 4: Acts

Yeah I haven't updated in awhile...so tonight I have a lot less homework then usual (probably since there's only two days of classes this week!) so I figured I get caught up on here and then move on to study for my Greek test tomorrow.

Anyway this picture is of my Acts textbook:

Colleges, home, and life in general.

So I informed a friend of mine yesterday that I wouldn't be coming back to Johnson next year. I never do remember who I tell and who I don't so today I explained my reasons. My last semester is kind of bittersweet. I wish for all the world that I could stay at the same I'm pretty excited about going. I've spent two years in a college I love, that I have no doubt spoiled me. But I've learned things to try and not to try. I have to admit I love changes. And I'm excited about going to a new place and having new experiences. But I just have to wonder how after such a short time a place has become home to me. I mean come on, two years in the grand scheme of things is not very long. And yet that's just what this place is, home. I didn't expect that.

Day 3: Kix

I decided to take a picture of my dinner. I have a thing for chiildren's cereal. Pops, Colossal Crunch ( better tasting Captain Crunch), etc. Tonight I had a bowl of Kix. YUM!

Day 2: Bday Card

I decided to take a picture of the birthday card I received:

Redo: Day 1: Birthday!

So anyway like I said I changed my mind and decided instead of doing the year of 2010 I'd do the year of my 19th. So I turned 19 yesterday (and technically my birthday isn't over yet even if the day of my birth is so...) I started taking pictures:

My door

One of the balloons on my door

My 'card'

Gifts from my Mommy.
Some friends also made me brownies and bought me ice cream and gave me a card. I love them. It was wonderful. I even bought myself an ipod.
